Johnston co-directed and co-wrote “Ralph Breaks the Internet” — along with co-writing the song “A Place Called Slaughter Race” for the film. He first came to Walt Disney Animation Studios as a co-writer on 2012’s Oscar®-nominated movie “Wreck-It Ralph.” His credits also include the global animated hit “Zootopia,” which won an Oscar® for Best Animated Feature Film, and “Cedar Rapids,” for which he earned a 2012 Independent Spirit Award nomination for best first screenplay.
